Amanda Beane has built her career around photography, storytelling, and the people who bring compelling images to life. Most recently, she has worked with Netflix’s Photo Studio, producing and editing imagery for various series including Beef, East of Eden, The Body, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Working closely with photographers, showrunners, and cross functional partners she helps translate the creative vision of each series into photography that serves its story and impacts audiences.
Previously, at CBS/Paramount, Amanda rebuilt the photography team and helped shape imagery for more than 55 shows annually, from long-running favorites like NCIS to launching global franchises like Love Island USA. At Playboy and Architectural Digest, she helped lead brand’s transition from film to digital, guiding teams through significant changes in photographic workflows and creative production. Later, at E! Entertainment, she helped drive digital growth through strategic partnerships, more efficient workflows, and photography coverage of global cultural events.
With a foundation in portraiture from Brooks Institute, Amanda brings a photographer’s technical eye and a collaborative creative approach to every project. She loves solving creative challenges, championing photographers, and finding ways to make great work happen. Mentorship is also an important part of her career, and she supports emerging photographers through Diversify Photo, APA, ArtCenter, and other creative communities.
