At any given moment you can find me conceptualizing, producing, on-set art directing and poring over every pixel of imagery for my shows at CBS Network. My formal photography roots began at Brooks Institute of Photography where I was a portraiture major. I learned all about lighting, the art of critique, the beauty of film and fine art printing while at the same time being at the frontline of the digital movement. After graduating, I worked in the art department at two very different magazines: Architectural Digest and Playboy (best described over drinks), where I was able to transition teams from film to digital. From there, I made the jump to television at E! Entertainment as a Sr. Photo Editor where I reduced cost and extended terms of use with 75% of agencies in the 1st year and streamlined procedures to accommodate exponential, continuing growth of the site while staff size remains the same. I am deeply passionate about mentoring photographers through organizations like Diversify Photo, Art of Freelance, APA, Art Center, the Luupe and our very own, CBS Photo Internship program. Please feel free to reach out to see how we can connect!
